William Cobbett's famous rural rides of 1821-1832 are among the best-known and most interesting personal views of life in England under George IV. Written with a strong radical slant, they nevertheless show the writer's clear-sighted and and shrewd observations if the rural existence of ordinary people in the early days of the Industrial Revolution.

Published in 1941 by J. M Dent and Sons Ltd. 320 pages. The inside cover design is by Eric Ravilious.

The book has a mark on the front, and is scruffy around the edges of the cover. But is completely readable.
