'West Surrey contains many fine buildings form all historical periods, by is particularly rich in examples of Victorian and twentieth architecture. The proximity of London and a burgeoning middle class encouraged some of the country's greatest architects of the 19th and 20th centuries to ply their trade in the rural lanes of West Surrey. 

The Farnham and Haslemere Societies and Godalming Trust combined research has been transformed into a profusely illustrated book which includes an appendix containing details of over 500 buildings.

106 pages with colour photographs plus an extensive appendix . Published in 2002

The book is in good gently used condition.
